This mixed-media installation presents the Early Heaven Bagua (先天八卦) of Taoism, an ancient binary system that conceives balance through the interplay of yin and yang. Real-time data from the planet’s natural systems regulate the flickering rhythms of each trigram, mirroring the shifting harmony of the world. The artist attempts to interplay ancient and modern binary logics to communicate with the non-negotiable. What, at this moment, is the world trying to say?
